Personality: Twilight was a particularly studious and driven Alicorn. She put great effort into finding a magical solution to end the war. She cared deeply for her friends and was heartbroken to find Pinkie Pie had resorted to using Party Time Mint-als. Twilight enjoyed reading and science and was incredibly intelligent, she was able to create The Gardens of Earth Megaspell and the formula for creating impelled metamorphosis potion (I.M.P)/taint which was to be used to create artificial alicorns and an unknown Mutagen that would mutate some of the creatures on the planet years after the war.

Other Details:
Pre-War: Twilight grew up in Canterlot with her parents. As a filly, she witnessed Princess Celestia raising the sun during the Summer Sun celebration which inspired her to study magic. Her growing love for studying magic eventually led her parents to try and get her admitted to Celestia's school for gifted unicorns. During the admission test, Twilight initially failed to hatch Spike's egg and was startled by Rainbow Dash's sonic rainboom, causing her magic to act on its own. Twilight's uncontrolled magic grew Spike into an adult, turned her parents into plants and levitated the admission board members.
Celestia calmed Twilight and took her in as a protégé, making Twilight her personal student. Twilight grew up in Celestia's school and discovered the prophecy of Nightmare Moon's return. Celestia, possibly anticipating this, sent Twilight to Ponyville with instructions to make friends. Twilight does this after Nightmare Moon returns, and, with the help of her new friends, she activates the Elements and purifies Luna.
A year later, Twilight and her friends would defeat the draconequus Discord, turning him into a statue once more. She later fought alongside her friends, Big brother, Sister-in-law, and the rest of the Canterlot residents to fight off Chrysalis during his big brother and soon to be sister-in-law's wedding although Shining Armor and Cadence defeated the changelings using their power of love.
Sometime later for Celestia's request, Twilight Sparkle and her friends freed discord and after sometime she became friends with him.
She became Princess after unlocking the final key to Starswirl's Spell. Twilight Sparkle's Element of Harmony was stolen from the unicorn Sunset Shimmer after she enters the pony world through a mirror to the human world and Celestia said she was her former student. IT took sometime but Twilight with her friends (the ones in the human world) defeated Sunset Shimmer and she forgives herself for her wrong deeds. She met Flash Sentry in the human world and her own world but they never had the time to interact with each other.
Another year later, She and her friends along with Ponyville residents and possibly the entire world were invaded by magical plants that discord accidentally planted during Ancient Equestria times. IT was a difficult task but they decide that they gave up their processions of the elements. Later on, they find all the keys to a magical chest when Tirek the centaur assaulted on Equestria. Discord joined him after he gave him "freedom" but later on he betrayed him because "He's worthless as his brother was" Twilight and her friends used all of their six keys and unlock a force stronger than the elements of harmony Known as Rainbow Power or The Rainbow of Light and defeated Tirek with it.
During the War: Twilight Sparkle was the head of the Ministry of Arcane Sciences (informally known as the Ministry of Magic). Not much is known about her involvement in the war effort, but it is revealed that her two main accomplishments were:
1. The creation of artificial alicorns.
2. The Creation of the Gardens of Equestria Megaspell, A colossal megaspell capable removing all of the radiation and I.M.P. of the continent of Equestria.
during her "Day-off" times, she interacts with her friends and a few times she had interacted with Flash Sentry. Over the course of the months, they got to know each other and establish a relationship. Flash gained a position as guarding over her marefriend's team at the Ministry.
It is unknown of what happen to Twilight Sparkle during the Last Day and the years that followed but one's for certain that Sunset Shimmer was working with Twilight at The Ministry of Arcane Sciences.
